Компания «Форд Соллерс Холдинг» объявила об отзыве 2897 автомобилей Ford Mondeo, Galaxy и S-Max, изготовленных с 24 сентября 2014 года по 26 августа 2015 года. VIN-коды указаны на сайте Росстандарта.
Причиной отзыва назвали условия высокой коррозии из-за дорожной соли. В трех болтах электродвигателя рулевого механизма из-за коррозии может возникнуть трещина.
Это может привести к потере усиления рулевого механизма, хотя механическая связь между рулем и дорогой будет поддерживаться.
На всех отозванных «Фордах» болты заменят на новые с нанесением ингибитора коррозии. В случаях их отсутствия или поломки бесплатно заменят рулевой механизм в сборе.
